Patrice Plank Fine Art

Patrice's Biography

Patrice Plank a native of Massachusetts relocated to the Sierra Vista area in 2000. She found her niche here in the Southwest due to her love of the desert wildlife and beautiful mountains.

Her primary media was traditionally oils and acrylics. Recently she has fallen in love with clayboard scratch art. Patrice scratches her original art into the surface of the clayboard with very delicate tools and using a magnifier, reveals the design in exquisite detail in shades of black and white. She then paints her art with special inks or acrylics.

Inspired by nature, Patrice tries to capture the beauty surrounding her. Her favorite subjects include birds, butterflies, dragonflies, animals and flowers.

Patrice is a member of the Tombstone Association of the arts. Her scratch art has won numerous awards and her art is included in private collections throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and New Zealand. She has traveled to several juried shows throughout the year and will be in the prestigious Tucson, 4th Avenue Street Fair on March 23, 24th and 25th.
